Charlie Intel and other Call of Duty data miners have shared their latest discovery about the arrival of Frank Woods, a renowned Black Ops character and legend in the franchise.

The leaker suggested that Woods would join the carnage over at the previous releases of the game, Modern Warfare III and Warzone 2.0, as part of the preorder bonus for the upcoming game.

This means that Woods would be available to use as an operator for the two current games of the Call of Duty franchise, but it remains unknown what loadouts would come with the character.

It may also suggest that Woods' special character operator skin coming to the present games of Call of Duty is coming to its next release, as Activision Blizzard offers carry-over to next-gen titles.

Call of Duty's Recent Releases

Activision Blizzard's Call of Duty releases saw a massive following in the past two years because of the iconic revival of the Modern Warfare series, with 2023 seeing Modern Warfare III arriving.

One of the best-known Call of Duty games in history, MW3 offered significant improvements since its early 2010s release, with this modern take offering significant improvements that make it adept for this era's gaming.

On the other hand, 2022's Modern Warfare II is one of the most famous re-releases from the franchise, particularly as this was one of the most popular games from the franchise. Additionally, gamers were joyed with what MW2 has to offer, not only capturing the classic game but also enhancements for the modern platforms.

The last Black Ops release from Call of Duty was 2020's Black Ops Cold War, a direct sequel to 2010's original Black Ops release, the sixth installment from the namesake, and the seventeenth game overall.

For 2024, it would stray away from the Modern Warfare sub-series and revert to Black Ops, featuring the legendary Frank Woods to join MW3 and Warzone as a preorder bonus.
