Socialite Paris Hilton's younger brother Conrad Hilton had a run-in with the law when he was arrested in Los Angeles in connection with a mid-flight outburst that occurred in July 2014.

On Tuesday, Feb. 3, Conrad surrendered to the FBI. The 20-year-old was charged with assaulting and intimidating flight attendants aboard a London-to-Los Angeles British Airways aircraft in 2014.

Hilton, a passenger on Flight 279 on Jul. 31, disrupted the services, even calling co-passengers and in-flight crew peasants, based on the criminal complaint.

Children were crying and passengers were scared as Hilton continued his outburst. The Hilton heir was yelling profanities and blocking flight attendants as he was pacing down the aisle.

According to the criminal complaint filed at a U.S. District Court, Hilton was disrupting the services and interfered with the crew's ability to carry on their duties. The complaint reveals that a delay of 40 minutes happened for the drink service as Hilton was being unruly. The flight crew tried to pacify Hilton; however, he was argumentative and angry, even threatening to kill them.

"I could get you all fired in five minutes. I know your boss. My father will pay this out; he has done it before. Dad paid $300,000 last time," Hilton allegedly said while grabbing an attendant's shirt, according to witnesses.

Flight attendants said Hilton was under the influence of drugs as he spoke quickly and was acting in an erratic fashion.

"If you wanna square up to me, bro, then bring it on and I will [expletive] fight you," Hilton reportedly said.

The crew held two safety meetings to discuss how to possibly restrain Hilton. While he slept, they did just that and monitored a livid Hilton until the police boarded the aircraft.

Hilton appeared in court on Tuesday afternoon and revealed that he had taken sleeping pills prior to boarding the aircraft. His lawyer, Robert Shapiro, is of the opinion that the pills may have caused the reaction.

Hilton has been released on bail for $100,000, and the court has ordered him to surrender his passport and stay in California.
