Bobbi Kristina Brown is currently fighting for her life, and chances are the family is already making plans to fight for her money should she fail to survive her ordeal. There are several parties involved, which means the whole scenario could get ugly.

Whitney Houston when she died left Bobbi Kristina Brown $20 million. She inherited 5 percent of that amount when she turned 21, and stands to inherit another 15 percent when she's 25. At age 30, Bobbi Kristina would gain another 30 percent of the $20 million, and the remaining amount at age 35.

However, if it turns out that Bobbi Kristina fails to recover after being found face-down in a bathtub on Jan. 31, Whitney Houston's mother, Cissy, and her two sons stand to gain everything according to the will.

However, things might not go down as planned for the Houston and Brown family as Nick Gordon once claimed to have been married to Bobbi Kristina. In fact, both claim they were married, so if this is true, Nick could make a request for the money and that would definitely complicate things.

From what we've seen already, the family is preparing for such a scenario since Bobby Brown and his lawyer publicly stated that Nick and Bobbi were not married. Since the statement, Nick has yet to say a word regarding the marriage on whether it happened.

"We are currently investigating the events that led to the hospitalization of Bobbi Kristina," says Bobby Brown's lawyer, Christopher Brown, to US Weekly on Feb. 3. "To correct earlier reports, Bobbi Kristina is not and has never been married to Nick Gordon."

Now, for Nick to stand the slightest of chances of inheriting Bobbi Kristina's estate, he would have to prove without a doubt that he was married to her. If that is the case, then it should be no problem for Nick, and he'll ultimately walk away a very rich man.

Still, it appears the lawyers know something we don't, but hopefully Bobbi Kristina wakes up, and we won't have to find out. People bickering over the estate of folks who have passed on from this life is one of the most terrible things of humanity.
