After what seems like forever, finally BioWare has released an update that will allow players to store their favorite items in Dragon Age: Inquisition. The omission of this feature was an enormous issue for fans of the franchise, but now it is no longer a problem.

Dragon Age: Inquisition is arguably the best video game to be released in 2014. The title went on to win Game of The Year, and rightfully so since it brought the Dragon Age franchise back into the heart of fans after the disappointment that was Dragon Age 2.

Some might believe personal storage is not essential to the game overall, and that is true to an extent. However, many gamers enjoy holding on to weapons that are no longer used on the battlefield or certain books found around the world for future reading.

According to BioWare, the new patch should make the personal storage show up at Skyhold in the Undercroft. It is not certain how many things players will be able to store, but it should be enough keep everyone happy.

Apart from just the personal storage option, BioWare is re-introducing the Black Emporium. For those who are not aware, the Black Emporium showed up first in Dragon Age 2 as part of the first DLC. It's a place that allows players to purchase cool items among other things.

Probably the best thing about the Emporium is the Mirror of Transformation. BioWare says this mirror will allow players to change the look of their character should they wish to do so.

This is indeed a great addition to the patch, and we can't wait to get our hands on it.

There's something we should point out though. The patch will only be available for PC gamers since for now it is just a beta. Once everything is in place, it should come to console gamers soon after.

What about DLC content?

It's taking a while, but BioWare says DLC is in development and fans should hear more about this when the team is ready to share. Chances are; this information could make its way to GDC.
