Back to the Future buffs can now become time travelers themselves and get their own slice of the hit movie's sequel - the DeLorean.

Japan-based toy company Bandai is bringing a DeLorean Time Machine iPhone 6 case inspired by Back to the Future: Part II as part of its Crazy Case line-up.

In the past, the company has released the Batman-inspired Batmobile Tumbler smartphone case keeping fans in mind.

Bandai's DeLorean case is the second in its Crazy Case series and the release of the accessory meant for iPhone 6 has been timed, keeping the year depicted in the Hollywood movie in mind - i.e. 2015 where all of Marty McFly's adventures took place in Back to Future II.

Shaped like the DeLorean DMC-12, the iPhone 6 case may be a tad bulky for practical purposes. However, it is a must-have for those who are big on Hollywood nostalgia.

The Back to the Future II DeLorean Time Machine case for iPhone 6 has in-built blue LED headlights that strobe when a user gets an incoming call. The headlights can also be activated via the iPhone 6's in-built flashlight app if one chooses.

The interactive phone case reveals the phone's camera when one slides out the front fender and wheel on the driver's side. Removing side panels give one access to the volume buttons, as well as the sleep/wake control. Pretty neat we say!

The Back to the Future II DeLorean Time Machine phone cover is slated to release in June this year and will cost consumers $50 a pop.

The phone case can be pre-ordered online at Bandai's website - but a word of caution since the site is in Japanese you may need help in translation!
