The Cat In the Hat. Green Eggs and Ham. Horton Hears a Who. How the Grinch Stole Christmas. These are among the most famous children's books from Dr. Seuss, aka Theodor Seuss Geisel. They're not only literary classics; they're a part of pop culture.

Geisel's publisher, Random House, has just announced that the author's widow, Audrey Geisel, has turned up at least three of her husband's never-before-seen manuscripts and sketches. Her discovery, a box full of unpublished Dr. Seuss material, was made a few years ago while she was remodeling her home. The first title to come out of this box is called What Pet Should I Get?, which Geisel found in almost-ready-to-be-published condition.

At least two more brand new Dr. Seuss titles have been culled from the box and are being planned for publication at later dates. Their titles and subject matter have not been announced.

To date, a total of 45 Dr. Seuss books have been published, making What Pet Should I Get? number 46. Random House notes that more than 650 million copies of Geisel's books have sold worldwide.

What Pet Should I Get? will join the Seuss catalog on July 28, 2015. It's said to star the same brother and sister characters from One Fish Two Fish Red Fish Blue Fish, and highlight the excitement and dilemma of choosing a pet.

Geisel died in 1991. Random House believes that What Pet Should I Get? was written between 1958 and 1962. It can be preordered now for a whopping $17.99.
