Samsung will officially launch the Galaxy S6 and S6 Edge at a press event on March 1. T-Mobile and AT&T have joined Samsung in teasing the upcoming devices and revealing a potential release date.

Mobile World Congress 2015 will kick off March 2 in Barcelona and smartphone fans are in for some huge treats, courtesy of companies like HTC and Samsung. The pair will hold press events on March 1 to kick off the trade show, which runs March 2-5, and both are widely expected to launch two new devices each.

HTC will reportedly launch a successor to its current flagship HTC One M8 with the 5-inch HTC One M9 smartphone, and 5.5-inch HTC One M9 Plus phablet. Leaked images of the pair show a more refined aluminum design and glass edge-to-edge front panel and display.

While HTC is debuting its latest and greatest, Samsung will take the stage and introduce the world to its 2015 flagship smartphones. Just as HTC is planning two new handsets, Samsung is also widely expected to take the wraps off the Galaxy S5 successor, the Galaxy S6, and a curved display variant Galaxy S6 Edge

All major U.S. carriers are expected to offer the Samsung Galaxy S6 and Galaxy S6 Edge. T-Mobile and AT&T just teased what appears to be the Galaxy S6 Edge and when you can expect to purchase the smartphone.

T-Mobile created a sign-up site for customers interested in Samsung's upcoming smartphones and shows what appears to be the curved-display Galaxy S6 Edge with the caption "Six Appeal" above the handset. You can see its display curve around its side and what appears to be a redesigned Home button, which is rumored to function more like Apple's Touch ID than the biometric reader currently found on the Galaxy S5. The device also has the widely reported aluminum case Samsung is believed to use on the Galaxy S6 and Galaxy S6 Edge.

AT&T launched a similar "Six Appeal" sign-up site and the carrier provides a potential release date with "Spring 2015" listed below the smartphone.

We'll be covering Samsung's March 1 event and will bring you all the latest news.
