This might just be the cutest darn thing you'll see all week.

Disney has kicked off a new feature on its YouTube channel called As Told By Emoji, in which the Mouse House's creatives will be retelling some of their best-loved stories in the format of Emoji, aka those smiley faces and other icons used in text messaging.

And what better way to kick it off than with the highest-grossing animated movie of all time: Frozen.

The video uses the mechanics of mobile phone texting, including what looks like the viewscreen of an iPhone, for its setting. The entire story of Frozen is squeezed into an interpretation that's just over two-and-a-half minutes long, and it's utterly adorable. Bet you never thought that text threads, calendar alerts, photo galleries, MP3s, and a little bit of clever animation could be turned into a movie. Disney is known for its "magical" experiences, and they prove why with this great little video.

Which Emoji is your favorite? Elsa, Anna, Kristoff, Sven, Olaf or wicked ol' Prince Hans? The snow monster "Marshmallow" gets a few seconds in the spotlight, too — and even he is made cuter thanks to the Emoji art style.

Disney tells us that future installments of As Told By Emoji will feature retellings of Tangled, The Lion King and Winnie the Pooh. You can subscribe to Disney's YouTube channel right here.
