It's a great time to a Joker fan. The Clown Prince of Crime has been soaking up the spotlight recently, with the villain taking center stage in Scott Snyder's current Batman story arc and actor Jared Leto preparing to portray the character on screen in the upcoming Suicide Squad film.

Frankly, there's never been a better time to read up on the Joker's long, insane history. Finding earlier issues featuring Batman's most infamous villain can be a challenge, but buying every issue you desire digitally is as easy as a click of the mouse. Digital comic retailer Comixology is having a massive Joker comic sale for one week only, with every issue on sale for 99 cents.

The sale includes every issue of Scott Snyder's previous Joker storyline, "Death of the Family", in which the Joker attempts to systematically destroy Batman's circle of allies. Snyder has said that his current "Endgame" story arc serves as a direct sequel to "Death of the Family", so if you are currently reading Batman but haven't had the chance to about Joker's previous antics, now is the perfect opportunity. The sale also includes the various tie-in issues of the arc from Batgirl, Nightwing and Catwoman.

If you are looking for a classic Joker story that would define Batman for years to come, "A Death in the Family" is a must-buy. The four issue event comic is famous for the scene in which Joker brutally beats then Robin Jason Todd to death. Todd's death is still felt in Batman's world today, even if DC kind of ruined it by later bringing Jason Todd back to life as Red Hood.

There is also a Superman storyline on sale in which Joker becomes emperor of the world, and you can also snag issues of the Joker's stand-alone series that ran from 1975-1976.

If you are interested in snagging some of the Joker's most prominent storylines for cheap, Comixology's Joker sale is running from March 3 to March 9.
