If you're looking for a heartwarming video to watch today, it doesn't get much better than this.

An ad from Samsung's Turkey branch has gone viral, and even though you know the under-three-minutes spot is a commercial and it has its staged moments, you just can't help but be charmed by it. For the ad titled "Hearing Hands," Samsung trained the residents of Bagcilar, Turkey, a suburb of Istanbul, in sign language for one month so that they could all make their hearing impaired neighbor Muharrem feel very at home.

So did it work? Well, why don't you see for yourself. In the video, Muharrem walks around town with his sister Ozlem, and he seems very confused when one resident signs "Good morning" to him. He gradually becomes more and more perplexed as people he didn't think were hearing impaired, such as a bagel store employee, a woman that bumps into him on the street and a taxi driver, all communicate with him through sign language, which is all captured on hidden video cameras.

The experience of finally being able to talk to and understand everyone he encounters in town seems to be such a heartwarming and overwhelming feeling for Muharrem that he breaks into tears by the end. You will too.

This video, which has garnered nearly 6 million views on YouTube since DigitalSynopsis.com posted it on March 3, is part of a special promotion for Samsung Turkey's video call center designed specifically for the hearing impaired.
