House of Cards is the hottest Netflix original show right now, and for good reasons. For those who are unaware, House Cards follows the life of Frank Underwood and his wife Claire Underwood, as they strive for power in the White House and the world.

Everyone should know that Frank Underwood is a dangerous man with only one ambition; to be the President of the United States. He eventually made that dream into a reality, but only by manipulating the former President into stepping down. Since Underwood was Vice President at the time, the Oval Office became his.

From what we have seen from the past seasons, Frank will do whatever it takes to get what he wants, even if it means killing those who stands in his way. We also realize that he is stronger with his wife by his side, but with Claire planning to file the divorce papers, it is clear that the reign of Frank Underwood is slowly coming to an end.

The big question is, how will he meet his end, if at all.

In the 1990's British TV series of the same name, Frank, who goes by the name Francis Urquhart, was murdered by his bodyguard with the consent of his wife. From what we can tell by the Netflix series so far, Claire has no love for Frank at the moment, but is she really capable of having him killed?

She is beginning to show real strength, because it takes a lot to leave a marriage of over 20-years, especially when the person she's leaving is the President of the United States. So yes, Claire is indeed capable of having someone killed, but not by her own hands.

If we should go by the novel, then it only means Frank will end up meeting his end by the bullet of an assassin. Apparently, an assassin who was out for revenge, attempted to kill his wife, but he pushed her out of the way and took the bullet himself. He died on the spot, and none of his secrets came out into the public domain.

We doubt House of Cards on Netflix will follow its British counterpart in having Claire call for a hit. Chances are, the writers are planning to go the route of the novel, or come up with a different ending altogether.

One thing is for certain though, Frank Underwood has made a lot of enemies to get where he is now, and something from his past is bound to come back and shot him dead. If not, maybe he'll go to prison, or even manage to get away with everything he had done.
