Video games are a good way to meet new people and make friends. The trick is to work together and form a solid alliance. Sounds easy enough, but it can be a challenge when individuals assert their own authority.

However, when everyone in the team comes together, that's when magic happens.

A group of players recently worked together as a unit to attain the most awaited and exciting challenge from Grand Theft Auto, and the results of their efforts are worth every hour they spent online.

The historic team consisting of Desert_Templar, DEVELISH12-9, Edub_1234, and KoingWolf spent 9 hours going through different levels and tasks in GTA online's hardest challenge - Criminal Mastermind.

The game requires players to complete all five heists including set-up missions in their specific order. Simple enough you may think but the clincher is that you must have the same team members all throughout the game, even on the hard challenges and no one is allowed to die.

The good news for those who want to follow this team's footsteps is that you don't necessarily have to complete the challenges in one sitting. Failures of missions are allowed as long as none of your team members die.

In the words of one player, "Closest we ever came to death was probably both missions that heavily involve chases with Lost MC and a lot of gunfire. They come from EVERYWHERE, spray automatic weapons, and try their best to crash into you. So many close calls."

After two days of playing, bonding and achieving an amazing feat worthy of online chatter and congratulations, the team's reward is a cool $12 million in-game dollars. The team may not be able to trade the winnings in real life, but the notoriety of being the first team to achieve such a feat this early in the game's release is something truly worth boasting about.

"It was the most fun I've had in GTA Online ever and one of the most stressful challenges I've ever experienced in a video game. Was it worth it? For $12 Million? Hell yes," KoingWolf said.
