With the Samsung Galaxy S6 and Galaxy 6 Edge due to debut in just weeks, a dual-SIM variant of the Galaxy S6 has been spotted online.

Samsung's new flagship smartphones are set to debut shortly, and so far, they are making a big splash. When the handsets were introduced on March 1 at Mobile World Congress, the tech world was wowed by the premium design and powerful specs of the Galaxy S6 and S6 Edge.

Consumers also seem impressed and excited about the new handsets. Early preorders were reported to hit 20 million, and that was weeks ago before preorders were even made available in large markets, including the U.S. As a gauge of interest, Swiss preorders were reported to be four times the amount placed for last year's Galaxy S5.

Rumors of a dual-SIM variant of the Galaxy S6 were circulating earlier this month, and now, a Russian online retailer has listed the version, called the Galaxy S6 Duos. Whether the information is credible has not yet been confirmed, and the listing dubiously shows the model number for both the dual-SIM device and the standard version of the Galaxy S6 as the same, SM-G920. The listing also shows the Samsung Galaxy S6 Duos as having only one storage configuration of 64 GB.

The pricing of the dual-sim phone is listed at just a few percent higher than that of the 32 GB single SIM version, which seems suspect, considering the dual-SIM capability of the Duos as well as double the built-in storage would command higher pricing. The Galaxy S6 Edge is not expected to be manufactured in a dual-SIM variant.
