H1Z1 might not be viewed as one of the best zombie video games available right now, but that did not stop 1 million gamers from purchasing the game. We should point out that H1Z1 in its current state is not a finished product and is only available via Steam's Early Access program.

Daybreak Game Company president John Smedley also said that around 5,000 players have been banned so far for cheating. Furthermore, local Australian servers are now live.

"We've just opened the Australian H1Z1 servers! have fun!" wrote Smedley on Twitter.

The game is set to launch on PlayStation 4 later in the year as a free-to-play title. Daybreak Game Company aims to make money by selling in-game items, but it hopes not to turn H1Z1 into a buy-to-win game.

H1Z1 has been in development for quite some time. The basic mechanics are similar to that of DayZ, although not as complicated. The game right now is a buggy mess, but it does show signs of potential so if the developers do what is needed, the future could be bright for the game.

With over 1 million players now owners of the game, Daybreak Game Company is off to a good start. The most grueling task right now is to keep these 1 million players returning on a daily basis and spending cash to gain cool items to kill the horde and wild deer.

The game can be had for $20. As we've stated before, this is an unfinished title, so some things will not work as expected.
