It makes sense that nearly all of the Batman v. Superman: Dawn of Justice coverage has been centered around the Dark Knight and the Man of Steel - after all, this is their big debut as a team in DC's Cinematic Universe.

That being said, there are plenty of other characters that are set to make their debut that haven't gotten a lick of coverage.

Case in point: Lex Luthor.

The villain is presumed to play a huge role in the upcoming blockbuster, and yet, the only thing fans know is that Jesse Eisenberg is set to play Luthor.

There have been no hints given about his character at all - fans didn't even know whether or not Luthor would be bald in Batman v. Superman.

Now, after months of waiting, fans finally have an answer: Entertainment Weekly posted the first picture of Eisenberg in full makeup...and things are looking good.

"He's not any of the Lexes that you've seen, that's for sure...other than him being a captain of industry and one person to the world and another person to himself. And bald, of course."

That's from the film's director, Zack Snyder, who went on to say that Batman v. Superman's version of the character wasn't just another over-the-top comic book villain:

"Our Lex is disarming and he's not fake...He says what he believes and he says what's on his mind. If you can unravel the string and decipher what he means, it's all there."

Let's be honest: while it's a much younger look that previous on-screen versions of Luthor, Eisenberg looks good here. Yes, he's bald - which is definitely a good thing - but that hyper-intense glare is what really sells it. It's the look someone gives when trying to intimidate someone into not asking questions and keeping quiet, and it's perfect for Luthor's character.

Still, there's something odd about the photo...why does it look like Luthor is wearing a prison jumpsuit?

Batman v. Superman: Dawn of Justice will debut in theaters on March 25, 2016.
