We know that Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice will see both heroes facing off against each other. The big question is why both men want to fight want to fight each other, and who the instigator is.

According to a report from Badass-Digest, the battle between the two titans stems from something Lex Luthor told Superman. Or maybe the evil genius has found a way to control the Man of Steel. Whatever the case may be, Batman will have his hands full, because this fight won't be a walk in the park.

We understand that Superman did not hold back in this fight. Badass-Digest claims he destroyed the Batmobile with a single punch, something he was unable to do in the Frank Miller comic The Dark Knight Returns. In this story, Superman was set by the President of the United States to stop Batman, but this time around, it is Lex Luthor who is behind the whole encounter.

"In Batman v Superman, Superman is no lackey of the government; if anything, many of the world's governments distrust the guy. But it is Superman who goes to Gotham and starts the confrontation ... at the behest of Lex Luthor. And unlike The Dark Knight Returns, Superman comes out swinging, pulverizing the Batmobile with one punch. Why would Superman do Lex Luthor's bidding? What is Lex hoping to accomplish? That would be spoiling. But know that when the fight is over, Batman will be able to point to Superman and say, 'He started it!'"

We're not surprised that the government hates Superman because he had a hand in the destruction of Metropolis. Furthermore, he is part to blame for Zod and the other Kryptonians coming to Earth. However, to think that Luthor could manage to turn the two heroes against each other is kind of a stretch.

The only way we believe Luthor could do this is if he found a way to take control of the Man of Steel, or this alien from Krypton is easy to manipulate.

Whatever the case may be, we can't wait to see Batman wiping the floor with Superman because he's Batman.
