The rest of the Shaolin monks from the Mortal Kombat universe, along with a new friend, have emerged and are now officially confirmed to appear as playable characters in the upcoming installment of the gory fighting series Mortal Kombat X. A kombatant from the comic book series also prepares to make his video game debut.

Along with series mainstays Kung Lao and Liu Kang, the four-armed fright Goro has now been confirmed as playable for anyone who buys the game.

Goro, originally revealed as a pre-order bonus, will be available to all players, but they'll have to pay for the DLC to fight with him. Meanwhile, series newcomer Kung Jin is revealed in the latest trailer alongside Kung Lao and Liu Kang.

Here's a look at what each of the latest group of konfirmed kombatants bring to Mortal Kombat X:

Kung Lao

It is like 1992 all over again, watching how in the latest trailer Kung Lao effortlessly tossed his blade-like hat into chests and how it returned atop his head. The technique is still in Kung Lao's repertoire and the ground hat should be as well.

Liu Kang

While not as flashy as his surrogate father Raiden, god of thunder, Liu Kang has been one of the most electrifying kombatants to enter the Mortal Kombat tournament. Liu Kang's dragon fire, solar flares emanating from his palms, gives him a range of attacks, but his flying feet enable him to close distances fast.

Expect to see Liu Kang's classic bicycle kick and flying dragon kick punishing contestants who think they have the luxury of space and hope that his dragon fatality returns. Imagine Liu Kang morphing into a dragon and gnawing at a finished competitor.

Kung Jin

Little is known about what this newcomer will bring to the tourney, but we know that he's at least an eagle-eyed archer. Nightwolf was likely unimpressed, however. Since Nightwolf's Spirit Arrow attack is complemented by his Tomahawk Swing, it's possible Kung Jin could distinguish him by using his bow for some melee or strangle-toss attacks.

Erron Black

Stepping out of the comic realm, Erron Black will make his debut in the video game realm in Mortal Kombat X. It's unclear what attacks Erron Black will bring to the tourney, but there are sure to be tons of gunplay. The gunslinger packs pistols, a rifle and plenty of ammo on his person.

Goro

Expect the Ground Pound from Goro as he'll be sure to put all four of those arms to use. The Ground Pound and Stomp attacks should return in Mortal Kombat X and there's almost no way the Goro Grab can be left out of any game that he's in.
