April Fools' Day 2015 brought out a lot of pranks and jokes this year, but the most epic could be this multitude of cosplayers, both male and female, all dressed as Misty from Pokemon.

These 116 cosplayers outdid the Internet by posting their cosplay photos, all done in the same pose, at the same time on Facebook, with one single message: "I can't wait to debut my new Misty cosplay at Cerulean City Comic-Con!! #Pokecon"

Cosplayer Missyeru, who tries to do something every year for April Fools, organized the stunt.

"I wanted to one up my prank from last year, and reach a lot more people so I just thought it would be really funny if I got me and all of my cosplay friends to wear the same cosplay at the same day," says Missyeru. "I chose Misty because she's so iconic and a very easy, inexpensive costume to throw together. So I just made a secret Facebook group and invited every cosplayer I knew, and encouraged them to do the same!"

Cosplayers posted their Misty costume photos on their social media pages simultaneously at noon PST. The result was incredible, as seen in the image below:

By the way, Cerulean City Comic-Con is not a real con, but Cerulean City is a city in the Pokemon universe.

To view each individual Misty photo posted on April 1, you can find them here via this Facebook search. Most of the cosplayers, as expected, are women, but some men also got in on the Misty action. Most importantly, everyone had fun.

"I've been feeling a little down about my fan page lately but this made me really happy," says cosplayer April Gezzeth. "It was fun to come together with everyone to pull this off! It was also exciting seeing everyone's different versions of the costume and seeing what people were saying on their photos."

Missyeru and the other Misty cosplayers plan on selling their cosplay photos for charity with proceeds going to Gamer's Outreach, an organization that uses video games to help hospital patients, the military and others who need it.
