Unfortunately, most office environments aren't very colorful and are usually fairly uninspiring. However, one office worker decided to change his own office by creating colorful murals of superheroes with post-it notes.

The idea is relatively ingenious, because most office workers aren't allowed to paint their walls or hang up posters or photos that might damage the walls' surfaces. But post-it notes in a variety of colors gave Reddit user Bruck7 all the tools he needed to take his office from drab to fab.

"One day, I just got so tired of how sterile and boring our office felt, I thought I should do something about it," writes Bruck7 on imgur, where he shared photos of his artwork. "We realized that painting would take a long time, and would be difficult to remove (we had the building facilities department to worry about), so we landed on post-its as a semi-cheap and fully temporary solution."

Along with his fellow co-workers, Bruck7 created murals that were "colorful, playful and inspiring." What's more inspiring than superheroes? The office team agreed and got to work, starting with this gorgeous post-it note mural of Wonder Woman.

But one mural wasn't enough. The team also did murals for other superheroes: Superman, Captain America, Scarlet Witch, Iron Man, Spiderman and Batman.

The result was an office that people would line up to work in.

The great takeaway from this story is that this isn't one of those "don't try this in your home or office" kind of things. In fact, it could be great if everyone did something like this in their office, although bosses might argue that if you have time to make murals out of post-it notes, you may need to take on more job responsibilities.

Here's a tip if you decide to try this on your own from Bruck7 himself: use the post-it notes with the super-sticky glue.

However, these murals are temporary. Bruck7 and team are moving offices soon. Hopefully, their next office won't need as much decorating, but if it does, this team is ready and armed with colorful post-it notes.
