There are just about two weeks to go until LG unveils its LG G4 and the leaks just keep on coming.

The latest sharing on the sly, reportedly an LG micro site that likely was not supposed to go live so early, offers a few more tidbits on the impending LG flagship including the option of a leather-encased back that looks pretty darn stylish, and a list of features that includes a removable 3,000mAh battery and SD card slot feature. Other design options also include a plastic back.

The latest leak incident comes just under a week from an official LG teaser video spotlighting the flagship's F1.8 camera feature, as reported by Tech Times. Earlier reports claim the smartphone will boast a 5.5-inch screen, 2 GB RAM, 23GB of storage, a 16MP camera, and work off a six-core Snapdragon 808 CPU and Android 5.1. LG has confirmed the LG G4 will have a new QHD display.

As TechTimes has reported the LG G4 will feature a curved display, which follows the style of the vendor's portfolio of G Flex smartphones.

The latest leak also reportedly offered up full device renderings and features such as a color spectrum sensor that ensure images appear vivid and assess colors in a scene before a user takes the photo. Regarding the 5.5-inch QHD screen, the LG G4 will supposedly use an IPS Quantum Display for authentic color rendition and brilliant image display. Most intriguing, however, is that the screen may be easily visible even in bright sunlight.

In terms of form factor design options, the LG G4 will reportedly be available in red, blue, black, yellow and gray leather options, as well as several plastic build designs.

Another report on the leak incident cites the smartphone's manual mode will make camera users happy given controls for lens, ISO, white balance, exposure and shutter speed. In addition, similar to Samsung's Galaxy S6 and S6 Edge handsets, it will boast OIS support, which enhances video and photo action.

It's not clear whether the LG G4 will provide wireless charging, as one report notes, but will boast apps including Smart Notice 2.0, a speedy image gallery and Smart Calendar.

Response to the latest leak appears mostly positive with one smartphone user noting, "anything with MicroSD and removable battery is allowing customers some freedom."

Regarding form factor design, one commenter is wishing the leaked specs included something he'd like to see: a metal back. But as a fellow smartphone user quickly responded, that may not be an option when including wireless charging capability.
