April is proving to be a busy month for Android 5.0 Lollipop update releases, and many Samsung smartphones have recently received the update. Here's a rundown of all the activity since our last roundup:

Galaxy S5: The big news is that the Samsung Galaxy S5 finally received its long-awaited Android 5.0 Lollipop update on the AT&T network, following in the footsteps of Verizon, Sprint and T-Mobile, who had all released the update.

U.S. Cellular, the nation's fifth-largest carrier, also released the update this month, actually beating AT&T to the punch.

Galaxy S4: AT&T may have been last to release the Android 5.0 Lollipop update for the S5, but it won the honors of being the first U.S. carrier to release the update for the Galaxy S4. The carrier actually released the S4 update a day prior to rolling out update to the S5 to its customers, irritating some S5 owners who thought their more recent device should have received priority. The news has been quiet on the S4 release from Verizon, Sprint and T-Mobile, although many territories worldwide have already seen an S4 update rollout.

Galaxy S3: The Galaxy S3 is not expected to receive the Android 5.0 Lollipop due to its age, and no news has emerged recently to contradict that expectation.

Galaxy Alpha, Galaxy S5 Active, Galaxy S5 Mini: All three of these Samsung Galaxy smartphone variants are now confirmed to be receiving Android 5.0 Lollipop. Although AT&T, the exclusive carrier of the S5 Active in the U.S., has remained mum on a Lollipop release date, Canadian carrier Rogers just updated its Galaxy S5 Active status to "coming soon." The Galaxy Alpha and S5 Mini have not received time frames for their updates anywhere except in France, which has recently declared a Q2 release window for the S5 Mini update.
