Apple was previously preening its Apple Retail Store employees to dole out fashion advice when it comes to choosing the right case, straps and variant of the Apple Watch. Now, the company is gearing up to offer buyers a workshop dubbed "Apple Watch Basics."

Apple's website has been updated to reflect the impending workshop availabilities, with the Apple Watch Basics set as a Concierge option at some Apple Retail Store locations in certain countries.

For those wondering what to expect from the workshop, Apple asks you to "Bring your Apple Watch—along with your iPhone—and get familiar with your most personal device yet. We'll show you how to get started using Glances, gestures, watch faces, and more."

Through these workshops, Apple will be offering Apple Watch usage training sessions to the smartwatch buyers who have preordered the device, which went up on sale on April 10.

How does one go about reserving a training session? Here's how:

For example, the Concierge option for Apple's SouthGate store in Bath, UK, shows that the Apple Watch Basics workshop is available on several days. As shown in the screenshot below, one can make a reservation for a specific slot, be it evening or afternoon, on Friday, April 24; Tuesday, April 28; or Friday, May 1.

Checking the April 24 appointment option for the 11:30 p.m. slot asks you to key in your Apple ID to confirm the reservation. Once the info has been input, the website confirms your reservation.

The sessions will last 90 minutes, and only a few locations will offer reservations for the Apple Watch Basics workshop on April 24, the launch day of the program. Whether the workshops are part of a global rollout is not known.

These workshops will be held at an interval of 1.5 hours and are also being held over the weekend. Reservations for the workshop can be made either online via the Apple website or through the Apple Store app.

Moreover, some stores will also conduct the "Stay in touch with Apple Watch" workshop in addition to the Apple Watch Basics one.

If buyers do not have time to step into an Apple Retail Store for the workshop, they can watch tutorial videos on the Apple Watch in the comfort of their home.
