The NBA is a full-fledged point guard-driven league.

That point—pardon the pun—is seemingly hammered home on a nightly basis. Sunday was not an exception with John Wall and Stephen Curry leading the Washington Wizards and Golden State Warriors, respectively, to Game 1 playoff semifinal victories.

Curry and Wall aren't just All-Star point guards. They're point Gods.

Wall had 18 points and 13 assists, leading the fifth-seed Wizards to a 104-98 Game 1 victory over the No. 1 Atlanta Hawks. Great Wall scored his points on dizzying drives to the hoop and pull up jumpers.

Um...yeah...the Hawks are going to be in trouble this series.

Take a look at Wall in action.

Curry, who will reportedly be named the NBA's MVP on Monday, had 22 points and seven assists to lead the Warriors to their own Game 1 victory over the Memphis Grizzlies, 101-86.

"I think now we've got the cobwebs out of our offensive game. We should be able to build some momentum," Curry told ESPN after the game.

If Curry considers 22 points and seven assists, as well as the Warriors shooting 50.6 percent from the field and 46.4 beyond the arc, as "cobwebs," then the prospect of this series going the distance looks pretty bleak for Memphis.

However, Grizzlies' fans can take some solace in their All-Star center Marc Gasol promising a more physical Memphis squad in Game 2.

"I didn't think the game was physical at all," Gasol told ESPN. "We didn't bring it to that point yet. I hope, the next game, we have to bring it to our advantage."

Bumping Curry and getting extra physical with him would be a start. Peep the way he picked apart Memphis on Sunday night.
