Internet, meet "Concerned Kitten."

The small, eight-week old kitten received the name due to its small markings on the top of his head that resemble small eyebrows, granting him the look that he is permanently concerned or surprised.

Pictures of Concerned Kitten have now gone viral, with the possibility that he could challenge fellow feline Internet sensation Grumpy Cat in popularity.

According to 40-year-old Andy Entwistle, Concerned Kitten's owner, the kitten was born with two small blotches of black on his forehead. And then, as the kitten grew in size, the black blotches grew bigger and started spreading out into their current shapes that look like raised eyebrows.

Concerned Kitten, however, also goes by the more normal name of Gary, after the singer Gary Barlow, the lead vocalist of British pop group Take That. The name was given by Andy's wife, 45-year-old Caroline, explaining that the cat's look resembles that made by Barlow when he sings the higher notes of songs.

Concerned Kitten lives in Bolton, Greater Manchester in England, and is one of four kittens given birth to by two-year-old cat Luna, a cat that is white in color but with black spots.

Andy and Caroline were able to find new homes for two of the four kittens. However, they decided to keep Gary and his sister, Amy, who is experiencing issues in her mobility.

Caroline explained that, due to the cats that they already have, she and Andy did not really intend to keep any kittens from the litter of Luna. However, upon seeing Gary's unique look, they just could not let him go.

"'We love Grumpy Cat so we thought we'd give him a run for his money," Caroline said, explaining why the kitten was given a stage name. Caroline kept Gary's name though, claiming that the cat cannot be Concerned Kitten all the time.

Andy and Caroline have received queries on whether the eyebrows of Concerned Kitten are simply drawn on, and the couple is quick in dismissing such claims.

Caroline said that if anybody does not believe that Gary's eyebrow markings are not natural, they can try to rub them off.

"They're not going anywhere!" Caroline said.
