Significant progress has been made in the past month by Samsung and its affiliated carriers in releasing the Android 5.0 Lollipop update to the Galaxy Note 4, Note 3, Note 2 and Note Edge. Here's a look at the latest developments.

Galaxy Note 4: The Samsung Galaxy Note 4 Android 5.0 Lollipop update rollout reached something of a milestone in the U.S. when T-Mobile released the update to its users in the closing days of April. Now all five of the largest U.S carriers-Verizon, AT&T, Sprint, T-Mobile and U.S. Cellular, have all pushed out the Android 5.0 Lollipop update to customers on their networks. Internationally, users in Hungary, Germany, Spain, the Netherlands, Norway, Ireland, Czech Republic, and the UK have seen recent updates on their Note 4 devices, while many carriers in other territories such as Australia are still working on the update.

Galaxy Note 3: The Galaxy Note 3 is also now 5 for 5 in the U.S., as U.S. Cellular was the final of the top five carriers to release the Android 5.0 Lollipop update for the device in late April. While regions such as Mexico have joined the list of territories receiving the update, others like Australia and the Middle East are still waiting

Galaxy Note 2: The existence of a Galaxy Note 2 Android 5.0 Lollipop update has been in dispute and the subject of widespread speculation, as a series of both confirmations and denials regarding Note 2 updates emanated from various regional arms of Samsung, causing confusion as to whether the aging phablet would actually be receiving an Android 5.0 Lollipop update or not. Samsung Denmark recently confirmed a pending update for the Note 2 in that country, while Samsung Gulf confirmed that Note 2 devices in its region would not be receiving an update. So apparently, as far as the Note 2 goes, some regions will receive the Android 5.0 Lollipop update for the device while others won't, with most territories still remaining mum on eventual update availability

Galaxy Note Edge: The Samsung Galaxy Note Edge Android 5.0 Lollipop update rollout has also made substantial progress in the U.S., where only one major carrier, Verizon, has yet to provide the update to its customers who own the device. In other regions, much headway has been made as well, with regions such as China, Hong Kong, Singapore, Poland, and the UK all having received recent Android 5.0 Lollipop updates for Samsung's unique curved display device.
