As we enter graduation season, there are many things teens looks forward to as they close one chapter and open a new one. When it comes to the most important book of their high school career, the yearbook, choosing the perfect quote can almost be as hard as choosing the right person to take to prom.

The senior high school yearbook is a keepsake for many, probably for the rest of their lives. While it's a time capsule of all their high school memories, and is great for hauling out at future reunions, no other picture is as important as that senior yearbook photo.

As teens flash that "I'm finally free" smile, having the perfect quote to go under the snapshot is as important as having the perfect hair in the photo itself. So it only makes sense that a quote like this would go viral:

“Only reason I wear this is to give you females a chance,” the yearbook quote of Summit High School senior Rafika Alami said.

Alami says she chose to write this quote because she believes it is funny, and now it's going viral after it was shared it on Twitter and Tumblr.

However, this California girl has nothing to worry about because she hands-down has the best high school yearbook quote this year.

The quote refers to her hijab, the headscarf worn by Muslim women. While many teen girls aren't shy when showing their beauty, the Muslim faith says women (and sometimes men) should wear a hijab to show modesty.

Showing her sense of humor and high self-confidence, the teen girl teases other girls in her viral yearbook quote by saying that she is giving them a chance in terms of dating by covering up since her beauty may attract all the attention.

"I'm getting a lot of 'slay' and 'G.O.A.T' comments [ed.: 'Greatest Of All Time']," Alami says. "There are a very small handful of people saying I'm putting girls down but I'm really not."

While the quote has brought on some racist comments, the majority of social media users have named it the best senior quote and applaud Alami for her self-esteem.
