Less than a month after the launch of its newest flagship smartphone, the G4, LG has announced two new entrants into the G4 family, which will now be collectively known as the G4 Series.

The two new additions are the G4 Stylus and the G4c. These two new devices use most of the features that can be found in the G4, but with the G4 Stylus being bigger and the G4c being smaller in size.

The G4 Stylus features a 5.7-inch screen, which is slightly bigger compared to the 5.5-inch screen G4. As the name suggests, LG adds the company's Rubberdium stylus to the device for the convenience of customers in using the larger display. The G4c, on the other hand, is smaller with a 5-inch display but without sacrificing the power found within the G4.

The G4 Stylus and G4c will both still pack the 1.2GHz quad-core LTE chipset found in the G4, though the G4 Stylus can also come in a 1.4GHz octa-core 3G chipset. Both new devices will also be shipping with Android 5.0 Lollipop pre-installed.

Both the G4 Stylus and G4c will also have either an 8MP or a 13MP rear-facing camera and a 5MP front-facing camera. Other popular LG features that are also included in the two new devices include Glance View, Gesture Shot and Knock Code.

The G4 Stylus, however, will feature the lightning-quick Laser Autofocus that is found in previous flagship smartphones of the company, which will allow the user to take high-sharpness shots even when taken in dimly-lit locations.

The smartphones will also feature high-definition IPS screens that use the In-Cell Touch technology for additional responsiveness to the commands of users.

"The G4 Stylus and G4c are perfect examples of what we mean by a premium smartphone experience without a premium price," said the CEO and President of the mobile division of LG Electronics Juno Cho, adding that the company is committed to providing customers located in rapidly growing markets with devices that are considered of high performance but also with high aesthetic values.

"Both the G4 Stylus and G4c will surpass customers' expectations of what an LG phone should be." Cho promised.

The G4 Stylus may also be known as the G Stylo, will come in either Floral White or Metallic Silver, while the G4c will come in either Ceramic White, Metallic Gray or Shiny Gold.

The devices are expected to be launched in certain markets over the next few weeks. The prices of the devices will be announced once they are available.
