If you think you know Frozen, wait until you read this story.

By now, we have all discovered the clever folks at Disney put Tangled characters Rapunzel and Eugene into the scene of Elsa's coronation.

After a Redditor came up with the Tangled / Frozen connection, Frozen writer Jennifer Lee confirmed in an AMA that Elsa and Anna's parents were in fact on their way to Rapunzel's wedding when their ship wrecked.

The fan theory also further ties these stories into one connected Disney universe by saying that the ship Elsa and Anna's parents traveled on is the same the very same ship Ariel explores under the sea in The Little Mermaid.

But in an interesting turn of events, Frozen co-director Chris Buck went as far to say in a Reddit AMA that the parents did not die in this accident, but rather survived, washed up on an island where they gave birth to Tarzan, and then were eaten by a leopard. Two worlds, one family?

But I digress.

Now another Reddit user found might have cracked another Frozen Easter egg—and they just might just be onto to something here.

In typical morbid Disney fashion, there is another dark secret surrounding death in Frozen—this time featuring the character Kristoff, better known as the guy with the reindeer pet who falls for Princess Anna.

On Tuesday, Redditor superclaude1 pointed out that Kristoff's coat appears to be made from reindeer fur. We may not want to believe this strange discovery since his best friend is Sven the reindeer, so basically that means he's wearing around his best friend's dead mother. However, this Redditor added that this does fit together in the storyline.

"The ice harvesters must have killed Sven's mother, leaving a baby Sven for Kristoff to look after, and giving him the pelt to wear," superclaude1 wrote. "This explains why Sven is so close to Kristoff too, and why Kristoff still wears the same pelt. The smell reminds Sven of his mum."

Leave it to Disney to constantly kill character's mothers, but the theory does have some supporting evidence.

Frozen is set in Norway, and Kristoff is part of the Scandinavian people called the Sami. As one redditor points out, he is dressed like the Sami people, and "reindeer pelt is a very safe bet." It's fact that the Sami rely on reindeer herding for transportation, meat, and yes, even fur.

If you look at the two characters together, the fur on Kristoff's coat does look an awful lot like Sven's fur.

While this theory may be a bit far-fetched (that would mean a young Kristoff used the fur as a blanket before growing into the coat), another Redditor pointed out that the fur must belong to a reindeer since the wolves were abnormally large, meaning the coat would still be too large for him, even as a man.

For now, we will have to let this theory go, but it may just be another Frozen Easter egg.
