Gamers should get ready for an adrenaline rush as Respawn Entertainment is set to release "Titanfall DLC Expedition" with three exciting maps in May.

Titalfall, a first-person shooter online multi-player video game was initially launched in North America in March 2014 and has been welcomed in the gaming industry. Now the developer of the game has announced at the PAX East 2014 that the first Titanfall downloadable content (DLC) pack is set to release in May this year. The DLC will bring three new exciting maps "Swampland", "Runoff" and "Wargames" to gamers.

Justin Hendry, lead designer of the game, addressed a crowd at PAX East, saying that Swampland will feature a lot of trees that will give gamers more freedom when compared to buildings. Hendry said that levels with only walls make it easier for players to learn them quickly. Trees will give a different playing experience to individual gamers as it will allow them to "take unpredictable paths through the level."

Unlike Swampland, which has a lot of trees, the Runoff maps will have a lot pipes and gamers will have to manoeuvre in more water. Wargames, will be based on Titantfall's training simulator.

Drew McCoy, the producer of the game also pointed out at the PAX East 2014 that Respawn Entertainment is committed to gamers and will also issue free updates to players.

"We're going to do all sort of enhancements and features as we move forward, and those will all be free," said McCoy "This day in age with AAA console games and PC games when people hear DLC it just strikes fear and they're like 'Oh my gosh! This is a nickel-and-dime release of stuff.' We are going to have DLC, but we also are fully committed to the game as a living, breathing world. We have customers who love the game and want to play it everyday and we want the game to get better for them regardless of whether they spend another dime."

Titanfall has already attracted many gamers since it was revealed at Microsoft's E3 2013 and its popularity is increasing at a rapid pace. The game has already received various awards, including six E3 Critics Awards.

In May this year, Titanfall DLC Expedition will be available for Xbox 360, Xbox One and PC. It will be included in the season pass. However, each pack will also be available for $9.99.
