DC's Gotham TV show has been renewed for a second season after what many perceive as a very disappointing ending. With the new season being prepared, let's take a look at the folks expected to gain regular appearances.

No doubt after how season 1 ended, Gotham needs a huge change, and this might happen with the likes of Chris Chalk (Lucius Fox) and Nicholas D'Agosto as Harvey Dent.

We've seen the Harvey Dent character in Gotham quite a number of times. He's by far one of the best in the show, so we are glad he'll make regular appearances in season 2. Fans should not expect Dent to become Two-Face on the show unless, in the future, series transforms into a Batman TV show.

As for Lucius Fox, we only saw him once in season 1, and from that brief moment of conversation with young Bruce Wayne, it is safe to say Chris Chalk is a great addition to the team.

His portrayal of the character reminds us a little of Morgan Freeman's portrayal in the Dark Knight Trilogy.

We also understand that Morena Baccari (Dr. Leslie Thompkins) will also come on as a series regular. This is a given since she's in a romantic relationship with Jim Gordon, and the fact that both characters work at the same location. Not to mention what she had to deal with when it came down to that other woman, Gordon's ex-fiancé.

Season 2 of Gotham will begin shooting this year and is expected to be back on TV before the end of the year. The show is the third DC show to be renewed for another season. The only DC show facing a bleak future right now is Constantine. It was dropped by NBC, and now the writers and producers are hoping to find a new home.

Chances are, the show might end up being on The CW, which would be a real shame and probably turn it into a cheesy mess. However, only time will tell what happens to the show and whether or not it will regain new life.
