Unofficial T-Mobile blog TmoNews reported that that Un-Carrier is planning to release several new promotions this week.

According to the website, the information was detailed to them by one of its most reliable sources, with some of the news very big ones that potential and current customers alike should not miss.

The first bit of information revealed by the source is that T-Mobile, on June 8, will begin inviting additional customers to sign up for the Rhapsody UnRadio service for free. While the requirements needed for subscribers to take up T-Mobile's offer are unclear, it seems that the company will be sending certain customers an offer to sign up for a free 3-day trial period for the service. The subscribers can then simply follow a link contained in the message to take up the offer, and once the trial period is over, customers can either continue enjoying the service by paying a monthly fee of $4 or cancel the subscription to the Rhapsody UnRadio.

The source also said that T-Mobile will be launching a photograph campaign to allow customers to get the most out of the camera feature of their mobile phones. T-Mobile will launch a website to guide customers in using the cameras on their phones and will also offer a contest of some sort, with the details to be revealed once the promotion goes live on June 11.

To be released on June 12, however, will be the biggest news of T-Mobile for the week. As part of the grand scheme of better compliance with net neutrality regulations, subscribers under the Unlimited 4G LTE Simple Choice plans will have an increased tethering allowance by 2GB. In addition, instead of experiencing a hard cap once reaching the allocated data limit, subscribers will instead see browsing speeds reduced to 128kbps, which is similar to how data limits on mobile plans work.

T-Mobile's grand scheme will have two more phases after the increased tethering allowance and reconfigured data limit, though details for these upcoming moves have not yet been determined. The information for phase two and phase three could be expected to be unveiled within the month or in July.

Possibilities for upcoming announcements include an update to the Simple Global Data offer which could turn mobile phones to HotSpots while the subscriber is in another country and changes to the older plans offered by T-Mobile.

However, TmoNews said that none of the information reported by its source has not yet been confirmed by T-Mobile.
