You might think a game that is a mere week away would be done getting new trailers and footage, but at the Sony press conference at E3, a new trailer for Batman: Arkham Knight was shown.

While it sounds like overkill to see more from the game at this point, this trailer focused on mood and story, rather than gameplay.

Because this was at the Sony E3 event, the trailer was hooked to the PS4-exclusive Scarecrow Nightmare Missions. But if you ignore the obvious sales pitch, the footage shown is enough to keep anyone up at night.

The trailer begins with the haunting image of The Joker-who was killed at the end of Arkham City-getting cremated, all to the soulful serenade of "I've Got You Under My Skin." It's a grisly sight, and definitely explains the game's M rating. Also, did you notice the name "Robinson" that adorned the cremation oven? That's obviously a nod to Joker's creator, Jerry Robinson.

The trailer then switches to a first-person perspective of a cop at a diner who attempts to get a man to stop smoking in his booth. Enough of our babbling. Check out what happens here:

Batman: Arkham Knight hits stores on June 23.
