As gamers everywhere are stretching their fingers and working on building up thumb strength in preparation for Batman: Arkham Knight's impending arrival, Rocksteady has dropped a new video that reveals a crucial piece of information.

You probably already know that the Batmobile is a major new addition to Batman's arsenal in this game. And in most of the footage that's been shown ahead of the game's release, the thing comes across as an agile, powerful tank. But it turns out, it's not indestructible.

During a gameplay demo that finds Batman pursuing villain Firefly through the streets of Gotham, Firefly hurls something at the Batmobile that comes terribly close to destroying it: napalm. As you can see in the video, at around the 5:10 mark, the Batmobile drives through a bomb or blast of napalm, causing it to take heavy damage in just a few seconds' time before escaping the blaze. The damage doesn't seem to auto-repair, either.

We'll have to wait until we get our hands on the game to see exactly how many things can damage the Batmobile, how severely, and what it takes to recover.

Batman: Arkham Knight arrives for PlayStation 4, Xbox One and PC on Tuesday, June 23, 2015.
