Game developer Treyarch Studios will officially reveal the highly anticipated Zombie Mode for the upcoming first-person shooter video game Call of Duty: Black Ops 3 at the Comic-Con in San Diego this July 9, according to the Comic Book Convention's official website.

Fans of the Call of Duty franchise will be witnessing the popular Zombie Mode as Zombies gameplay director Jason Blundell unveils the Call of Duty: Black Ops 3's "mind-bending tale of the undead" and its star-studded cast onstage at the Comic-Con.

For its one-hour presentation at 1 p.m. to 2 p.m., attendees will receive limited edition Zombies memorabilia. Treyarch will also play the trailer of the Zombie Mode for the first time at the Comic-Con. In addition to some live breaking news about Call of Duty: Black Ops 3, its publisher Activision will be making an official announcement about the collector's editions of the video game series.

Treyarch introduced the Call of Duty: Black Ops 3 back in April. During the preview event, Treyarch studio head Mark Lamia stated that they are bringing back the Zombie Mode to the next Call of Duty installment with more depth and replayability. The developers will be adding a "full player XP progression system" and the Zombie Mode will be separate from the competitive multiplayer modes and the single-player campaign.

The Call of Duty: Black Ops 3 Zombie Mode will also bear the tagline: "Only the cursed survive."

Treyarch's sixth Call of Duty video game, Call of Duty: Black Ops 3, will be featuring a new cooperative campaign mode and new game characters called "Specialists" to its competitive multiplayer modes.

The game is set to be launched on Nov. 6 to gaming systems PlayStation 4, Xbox One and Windows PC and will also be available for the PlayStation 3 and Xbox 360 gaming consoles.

Activision presented the co-op cyborgs at Microsoft's E3 last week as part of the new offerings in Call of Duty: Black Ops 3. Watch the official trailer of its Co-Op gameplay below.
