The Sony PlayStation Vita didn't get much love during the company's presentation at E3 2015, but the console is not dead just yet.

Sony's media briefing at E3 2015 mainly focused on exciting titles for the PlayStation 4 (PS4), while the PS Vita was barely mentioned. Nevertheless, the PS Vita lives on and has a slew of games coming its way. A sizzle reel at E3 teased some portable games coming to the PS Vita in 2015 and later, and now you have another chance to see the reel.

The PlayStation Vita sizzle reel in question showcases a number of games set to hit the PS Vita soon, including enticing titles such as Persona 4: Dancing All Night, Severed, Super Time Force Ultra and others.

With the new-generation PlayStation 4 (PS4) now getting most of the attention and exciting new titles, many felt like it spelled the end for the older PS Vita. The upcoming games now prove that Sony is not ready to give up on its Vita console just yet, and it will be interesting to see whether it will be able to revive sluggish sales.

Moreover, a couple of days ago Forbes talked to Shawn Layden, CEO of Sony Computer Entertainment America, who shared some neat teasers. According to the executive, the PS Vita platform will see roughly 100 games coming out in 2015, and it's an excellent platform for indie developers.

"They're seeing a lot of opportunity across that," Layden tells Forbes. "And it's certainly a very vital and vibrant platform in the crucial Japan and Asia markets. So, yeah, we're still in the Vita business. We're still using it to bring new experiences. I think the cost of entry for a developer is probably more friendly than doing a full-blown, AAA PS4 title."

The sizzle reel for upcoming PS Vita games highlights 14 titles, but also shows off 37 more games even if only by their logos. With new life breathing into the platform this year, the PlayStation Vita apparently lives on after all. Check out the video below to see more games set to hit the platform.
