Apple just released iOS 8.4, which brings support for Apple's new streaming service, Apple Music. iOS 8.4 has already been jailbroken, and here's how to get it on your iOS 8.4-based iPhone, iPad or iPod touch.

Ever since the original iPhone was jailbroken in 2007, Apple has been playing a cat and mouse game with developers who have made it their mission to continue releasing jailbreaks for iOS devices throughout the years. Most recently, we reported that TaiG released a tool that allowed iOS users to jailbreak their iOS 8.3, 8.2, and 8.1.3 iPhone, iPad and iPod touch and provided a tutorial on how to get it up and running.

iOS 8.3 users who just jailbroke their devices thought they would have to choose whether to update to iOS 8.4 and get access to Apple Music or stick with iOS 8.3 until a jailbreak tool was released. That wait was extremely short-lived, because shortly after Apple pushed iOS 8.4 to the public, TaiG announced it would be releasing an update to TaiG V2.2.0 that would allow users running iOS 8.1.3 through 8.4 to jailbreak their iPhone, iPad or iPod touch.

TaiG V2.2.0 is currently only available for Windows users. Here's a quick rundown on how you can jailbreak your iOS 8.4 iPhone, iPad or iPod touch:

1. Head over to TaiG and download the TaiG Jailbreak Tool V2.2.0.

2. Plug in your iOS device to your computer and open Taig V2.2.0.

3. Uncheck the 3K assistant checkbox and check the Cydia 1.1.16 checkbox, and then click "Start" to begin the jailbreak process.

4. Be patient as TaiG goes to work; you'll be able to watch its progress.

5. Once the process is finished, your iPhone, iPad or iPod touch will reboot, and TaiG will display a message that the jailbreak was a success.

6. You should now see Cydia on your home screen and almost all of your favorite tweaks and features should work fine on iOS 8.4.

As always, make sure you make a backup of your iOS device in case of any issues with the jailbreak tool.
