Despite what its name implies, the rumored Samsung Galaxy S6 Edge+ will actually fit in most people's hands.

The latest leaked images coming from Twitter leaker @onleaks show a dummy of the rumored dual-curve smartphone used by Chinese case makers placed next to the regular Galaxy S6 Edge. While the latter has dimensions of 142.1 x 70.1 x 7 mm, the Galaxy S6 Edge+ is believed to be taller, wider and slightly slimmer than its smaller sibling.

Based on the images, @onleaks has already speculated that the new smartphone will have measurements of 154.5 x 75.8 x 6.85 mm, which all translates to a 5.5-inch display, give or take a few millimeters depending on how thick or thin a bezel Samsung plans to put on its rumored handset.

When placed on top of the regular Galaxy S6 Edge, the S6 Edge+ does not seem to be a whole lot bigger, which should be good news for people with normal-sized hands but still want the benefits of getting ample screen real estate without compromising on comfort and ergonomics.

Earlier this week, the first images of cases for the Galaxy S6 Edge+ and Galaxy Note 5 were published by PhoneArena, saying the images were provided by Romanian mobile accessories maker Mobile Direct.

The image for the Galaxy S6 Edge+ case suggests that, aside from being bigger than the S6 Edge, the smartphone will sport a similar exterior as the S6 Edge, with the control buttons, speaker, charging port and 3.5 mm audio jack all appearing to be in the same places. However, instead of running on one of Samsung's homegrown Exynos mobile processors, it is believed that the S6 Edge+ will have a Snapdragon 808 inside.

Meanwhile, those who prefer a bigger handset may eye the Galaxy Note 5, which is rumored to border on the 6-inch mark with a 5.98-inch display. As seen in earlier leaks, the Note 5 will have the loud speaker and audio jack on the bottom of the phone and will have the camera flash placed next to the camera module instead of below it. The Note 5 is believed to run on an Exynos 7422 processor and will have a 4K Quad HD display and support for USB Type-C.

If we're lucky, Samsung will unveil these new phablets at its press briefing at Berlin's IFA in September.
