Ever wanted to learn how to destroy a smartphone in several easy steps? Your wish has been granted as U.S. Sen. Lindsey Graham takes you through the tedious and painful task of destroying your smartphone – but not because it's time for the device to hang up its boots.

Then why, you ask? Because that's what happens when GOP presidential candidate Donald Trump gives out the personal phone number of another GOP hopeful.

When Trump disclosed Graham's mobile phone number at a rally, the fellow Republican didn't take the affront lying down. Graham has retaliated to Trump's stunt and how!

In an ingenious move, Graham has appeared in a video entitled "How to destroy your cellphone, with Senator Lindsey Graham." Graham had no option but to destroy the phone considering he started getting innumerable calls.

"Everyone has an old cell phone they need to get rid of. So does senator & GOP presidential candidate Lindsey Graham. There are many creative ways to dispose of these old devices. Here are a few," notes the video's description.

The one-minute long video has been created by the Independent Journal Review (IJReview) and was released on YouTube on July 22. As expected, the video has gone viral as the senator manages to snub Trump without too much effort. Is this the beginning of a video war?

In the video, Graham is seen attempting several methods of destroying the Verizon variant of really old Samsung flip phone.

The video shows Graham undertake several brutal methods which ranged from blending the forsaken handset to slicing it into two, burning it in an oven (more like grilling it), smiting it with a golf club, throwing a rock on it then finally dropping the device from a building.

While Trump may claim that he gave out the number for fun, guess who is having the last laugh!

"When all else fails you can always give your number to the Donald. This is for all the veterans," says Graham in the video before tossing the handset away.

Graham also took to Twitter to post this tongue-in-cheek message:
