Best Buy is having a big sale called "Black Friday in July," applying heavy discounts to some top-notch smartphones.

The Samsung Galaxy S6, the Galaxy S6 Edge and the Motorola-made Google Nexus 6 are three of the highest-end smartphones currently available on the market, and Best Buy is selling the unlocked versions of these smartphones at significantly lower prices. The older iPhone 5s is part of the promotion as well, allowing for significant savings.

Under this promotion, the unlocked Samsung Galaxy S6 with 4G connectivity and 32GB of internal storage capacity now costs $649.99, marking a $50 discount from its regular price tag of $699.99.

The unlocked Samsung Galaxy S6 Edge, meanwhile, is seeing a much heavier discount of $200. Best Buy is selling the unlocked model with 64GB of internal storage capacity and 4G connectivity for $999.99, down from the regular price tag of $1,199.99.

The Google Nexus 6 phablet from Motorola, meanwhile, is also seeing a heavy discount of $150. The promotion includes the unlocked Nexus 6 with 4G connectivity and 32GB of built-in storage priced at $499.99, marking a $150 price cut compared to its regular pricing of $649.99.

Lastly, Best Buy is also cutting the price of the previous-generation iPhone 5S, slashing $150 off its normal price tag. More specifically, the retailer is offering the unlocked iPhone 5S with 16GB of internal storage capacity for $599.99, allowing for savings of $150 compared to the smartphone's normal pricing of $749.99.

Best Buy is also offering the iPhone 6 and iPhone 6 Plus at notable discounts of up to $200, but the price cuts apply to the Sprint versions of the handsets, when agreeing to sign a two-year contract with the carrier. Nevertheless, if you don't necessarily want an unlocked smartphone, the 128GB iPhone 6 could be yours for just $199.99 on-contract (down from the regular $399.99), while the iPhone 6 Plus phablet with 128GB of storage is available for $299.99 on-contract (down from the regular $499.99).

Best Buy's Black Friday in July sale includes other neat offers as well, including discounted iPad Air 2 or MacBook Pro models. Keep in mind, however, that this is a limited-time offer set to expire on Saturday, July 25.
