There's never a shortage of parody trailers on the Internet, and this most recent one takes a stab at two films starring Jesse Eisenberg, creating a mash-up of Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice and The Social Network.

David Elmaleh posted his work on YouTube, splicing together scenes from the two movies while following audio from the Batman v Superman trailer. Strangely (or not; it may have been due to Elmaleh's genius), the scenes from The Social Network mesh well with the dialogue from the superhero flick.

"Mark Zuckerberg and The Winklevii have never despised each other more," Elmaleh wrote in the video's YouTube description.

While the mash-up was mostly done out of fun, it does highlight issues surrounding the use of social networks, most especially the level at which some people become completely engrossed with their online lives that they start neglecting what's happening in real life.

It must also be pointed out that Armie Hammer, who played the Winklevoss twins, was initially cast to be Batman when a Justice League movie was supposed to be made, with George Miller at the helm, so there's more than one connection between the Batman v Superman and The Social Network.

Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice is set to be released on March 25, 2016. Directed by Zack Snyder, it stars Ben Affleck as Batman/Bruce Wayne and Henry Cavill as Superman/Clark Kent. Amy Adams will be reprising her role as Lois Lane from Man of Steel, alongside Laurence Fishburne as Perry White and Diane Lane as Martha Kent. The rest of the cast include Eisenberg as Lex Luthor, Gal Gadot as Wonder Woman/Diana Prince, Jason Momoa as Aquaman and Jeremy Irons as Alfred.

The Social Network came out in 2010. It was received well by the public and critics alike, directed by David Fincher from a screenplay by Aaron Sorkin. Aside from Eisenberg (as Mark Zuckerberg) and Hammer (as Tyler and Cameron Winklevoss), the movie included Andrew Garfield, Justin Timberlake, Dakota Johnson, Rooney Mara, Rashida Jones and John Getz in its cast.
