Season 6 of The Walking Dead will hit AMC before the end of the year, and from what we are hearing, two of the top characters of the comics might appear.

The characters we are talking about are Negan and Jesus, not to be mistaken with Jesus Christ. Both men are popular characters of the comic series, so it would make sense that they would appear in the show sooner rather than later.

"It's absolutely a possibility," series showrunner Scott M. Gimple told Entertainment Weekly. "And when I say it's a possibility, we have a plan in place, but there's a couple variables for that plan that we're deciding about. It really depends on a few factors as we move into setting up the last bit of the season story-wise."

Chances are, Negan will likely be the one to show up first since the storyline in the series is venturing close to his territory.

Negan is one dangerous guy, and he's also a man with many wives. If you're part of this camp and your wife is beautiful, chances are, Negan will take her away. Should you attempt to regain her, expect to never see the sun again—well, you will as a zombie.

As for Jesus, whose real name is Paul Monroe, he is a man who became very important to Rick's group after a few mistrust issues. He's great at hand combat and has proven to be able to escape from the most dangerous situations.

He's called Jesus because of the way his hair is. Basically, he looks like the Jesus character from the many Western images. Remember that picture of the Jesus character on your grandmother's wall? Paul Monroe will probably look like that but with more scruff.

"When it comes to characters like The Governor, Michonne, Abraham, and others like Jesus and Negan who are fan-favorite characters in the comics, it's always a challenge to get it right," said series creator Robert Kirkman.

There was a rumor once that claimed Kevin Durand may play Negan, but we learned that this might never happen.
