There are people who are strong, and then there are people who are "The Mountain That Rides" strong.

Hafthór Júlíus Björnsson, who plays the menacing Gregor Clegane on Game of Thrones, has proven once again that he is worthy to portray the biggest, baddest brute in all of Westeros by recently claiming the title of "Europe's Strongest Man."

What does one have to do to be called Europe's Strongest Man? In Björnsson's case, he deadlifted 991 pounds before proceeding to pick up massive barrels, tires, a log and eventually an entire car frame in a race against other muscle men.

Natrually Björnsson emerged victorious. He is the "Mountain That Rides" after all, and he didn't earn the right to play the character because he was small. The Mountain in the show and in George R.R. Martin's book series is supposed to be the largest, strongest man in all of Westeros. When he dons heavy armor, his size increases even further, thus the "Mountain" nickname.

You can watch him claim the "Europe's Strongest Man" title in the video below.

What's truly crazy is that this isn't the first time Björnsson has dominated the competition. Last year he broke a probably fictional but still super impressive "viking" world record when he carried a 1,320 pound log on his back for five steps, proclaiming in his Instagram post "NOTHING CAN STOP ME!! NOTHING CAN BREAK ME!!"

He says ultimate goal is to win the World's Strongest Man competition. Judging from his exploits so far, we are going to go out on a limb and say his chances are looking pretty good.
