We've seen more than our fair share of so-called iPhone 6 leaked images, but this latest one could turn out to be the real deal. The newly leaked image is an LCD backlight panel that suggests the iPhone 6 could have a 4.7-inch display, a decent bump from the 4-inch display on the iPhone 5S.

The image was leaked by Nowhereelse.fr, though the website claimed it cannot vouch for it, so we have nothing to go by on whether or not this photo is truly the backlight panel of the iPhone 6 display. However, we can't help but realize how similar this backlight panel is to the one inside the iPhone 5S. The only main difference here is the size, so there could be a slight chance this could turn out to be legitimate.

Furthermore, Nowhereelse.fr has noticed that the positioning and length of this panel's connector cable is different from the one found in the iPhone 5S, so it is clear someone didn't Photoshop the iPhone 5S backlight panel to make it larger.

The next Apple iPhone is said to be scheduled for a 2015 release. Rumors have it that Apple is working on two iPhones, an iPhone 6 with a 4.7-inch display, and one with a 5.5-inch display. These rumors are, unlike Apple, but with Samsung gaining strength after strength with each new Galaxy smartphone released, it would make perfect sense for Apple to launch an iPhone with a larger display.

It is very clear this is what the market wants, and Apple has little choice but to go down this route or risk losing its market share.

Apart from a larger display, the iPhone 6's display is expected to have a resolution of 1704x960 and a beefed up A8 processor. Consumers should also expect the iPhone 6 to have increased GPU power for playing higher fidelity mobile video games. If things go as expected, the iPhone 6 could play games that are more graphically impressive than the PlayStation Vita.

The iPhone 6 is also expected to come preloaded with iOS 8, though it is not certain what users should expect from the new operating system. Don't be too surprised if the user interface is changed, since iOS 7's UI hasn't garnered many friends.
