If you're looking forward to Halo 5: Guardians' release in October but can't wait to get a peek into the game, then you're in luck. The theme music and images for the Warzone mode have leaked online.

The beta client for Halo 5 is in the process of being updated and if you had the version installed, you may have been among those who managed to spot things that were not meant for them. Apparently, the game's developer 343 Industries is continuing to deploy the beta version for closed-door testing. While you may not be able to join in the fun, you can still see the content.

This security loop has cost publisher Microsoft. Eagle-eyed gamers hawked in on the error and—before you knew it—the content had leaked online. Before you jump the gun and call the leak fake, know that it is the real deal because Microsoft has acknowledged the incident.

"It's unfortunate when work-in-progress content leaks, but this Halo 5: Guardians content is part of our ongoing private, external testing for multiplayer. We will continue to rigorously test Halo 5: Guardians to ensure the best possible experience for fans at launch," confirmed a Microsoft spokesperson.

The leaked images give a peek into the impending game's menu screen for the much-touted Warzone mode. The images not only show the title screen, but also the customization options that gamers will have the option of exploring. The leaked images also show off the general settings and other tweaks.

For those wondering about the theme music, apparently the December 2014 Halo 5: Guardians beta benefited from an update recently. This update includes the theme music you can hear in the YouTube video below, which was posted by Halo Memes on August 8.

"Halo 5's beta randomly received an update (still not playable), and this was the audio for the main menu," noted Halo Memes.

Halo 5: Guardians is set to hit shelves on Oct. 27 for Xbox One users and has been designed in such a manner that it amalgamates the Player vs Environment and traditional Player vs Player elements so that the game is more engaging.
