Canadian wrestling fans are known for getting generally more excited than their United States' counterparts, but this takes crazy to an entirely new level.

With the WWE having a house show in Victoria, British Columbia this past weekend, a wacky fan threw a replica Money in the Bank briefcase at Reigns during his bout against Bray Wyatt. According to Wrestle Zone, the briefcase hit Reigns in the back and neck, briefly interrupting the match.

Footage from the wild scene distinctly shows a fake gold Money in the Bank briefcase in the ring and a skirmish erupting outside of it in the front row of the crowd. Wyatt, still inside the ring, can be seen mouthing words to the fans and staring in disbelief, as the situation only gets more heated near the ringside seats.

It gets tense to the point where 22 seconds into the footage, the referee can be seen running out the ring and helping security handle the rowdy fans. Upon seeing this, the rest of the capacity crowd began chanting "kick them out, kick them out" something that security eventually was able to do.

Victoria police spokesman Sgt. Bryan Edwards told the Canadian Press that a male fan snuck the briefcase into the arena and other zany fans around him began urging for him to throw it into the Reigns-Wyatt match. When the fan finally obliged, he wound up nailing Reigns. Both Wyatt and Reigns essentially stayed in place, waiting for the melee outside the ring to die down, before continuing the match.

Edwards added that no charges were filed and that the fan apologized, but the 31-year-old male has been banned from attending any future WWE live shows. In other words, he won't be cashing in with his Money in the Bank briefcase any time soon.
