Who knew that POTUS was a Joni Mitchell fan?

If you want a new summer playlist filled with indelible classics, look no further than President Obama, who compiled a playlist of some of his favorite songs for Spotify and shared it with the public.

Even though POTUS has gone on record with the fact that he considers Stevie Wonder his "one musical hero," that his favorite rap song is Outkast's "Liberation" and that his iPod eclecticism ranges from Jay Z to Bob Dylan, a tweet sent on August 14 gave the American citizenry much deeper insight into his musical tastes.

Titled "The President's Summer Playlist: Night," selected artists include Beyonce (which is no surprise, given that the superstar and FLOTUS Michelle Obama are close friends), Frank Ocean, Eryka Badu, The Lumineers and Al Green. POTUS also seems to have a particular love for jazz (Miles Davis, John Coltrane, Billie Holiday), the classics (Ray Charles, Frank Sinatra) and some surprises like Van Morrison.
