Sprint has a neat new offer in place for iPhone fans, allowing them to upgrade to the latest model anytime with iPhone Forever.

More specifically, iPhone Forever means that customers are eligible to upgrade anytime if they don't have the latest iPhone model.

The offer applies to both new and upgrade-eligible Sprint customers, allowing them to get an iPhone for just $22 per month. Moreover, for a limited time, Sprint allows customers to get a new iPhone through iPhone Forever for only $15 per month. Just bring in your old iPhone, upgrade then and there, and leave the store with the latest iPhone model.

"We asked ourselves, 'What could we do that would move our customers forward with the latest and greatest technology every day?'" touts Marcelo Claure, Sprint CEO, in a new press release on August 17.

"We decided: How awesome would it be if anytime customers don't have the latest iPhone, they are eligible to upgrade, and have it be as simple as handing us your existing iPhone and picking up a new one — all included in your monthly rate."

The new iPhone Forever offer is available on each and any eligible rate plan from Sprint, and customers will always get the upgrade eligibility included in their plans. Interested customers can purchase a 16GB iPhone 6 at Sprint retail stores, the carrier's online store, Best Buy, Target and 1-800-Sprint.

Trade-In Offer

Those on other carriers, meanwhile, also have the chance to turn in an old smartphone (not necessarily an iPhone) and get the promotional $15 monthly rate on a new iPhone until December 31, 2015. The same offer stands for existing Sprint customers who are eligible for an upgrade as well. After that date, the monthly lease rate will go up to $22 per month.

Promotional Offer: Limited-Time

New or existing Sprint customers who are eligible for an upgrade can also trade in any smartphone, get a 16GB iPhone 6 and have their monthly rate cut down to $15 per month, until their next upgrade. Furthermore, interested customers who get an iPhone 6 and upgrade by the end of the year, with the same December 31 deadline, will continue to benefit from the $15 per month promotional price until their following upgrade. With the next-generation iPhone expected to debut soon, this offer makes sense.

Carrier Switching

If you're tied to another carrier but would like to switch over to Sprint's network, Sprint promises to take care of your old phone and contract. This means that you won't have to pay early termination fees or other charges; Sprint will pay it off for you.
