Parts One and Two of the highly anticipated live-action film adaptation of hit series Attack on Titan will arrive at select movie screens in the U.S. and Canada later this fall. Now you can guarantee your spot to see what's sure to be the two most epic post-apocalyptic movies of the season.

Tickets for screenings of both parts of the Attack on Titan movie are now available for purchase through the movie's official website. Screenings for Part One of Attack on Titan will take place on September 30, October 1 and 7 in select theaters in the U.S. and Canada. Part Two will follow soon after, hitting select theaters on October 20, 22 and 27.

If you're unaware of what this global phenomenon is all about, allow us to clue you in. The movie takes place in a world taken over by giant man-eating humanoids called Titans. Humans have been able to live in relative peace with these beasts for 100 years by staying behind three huge concentric walls — until a Titan more massive than any that have come before breaks through to wreak havoc on society once again. It's up to a young man named Eren to save the world. Now do you understand why this movie is so big, it needs to have two parts?

This live-action Attack on Titan film extravaganza is based on the popular anime and manga of the same name. Though both originated in Japan, there are more than 50 million copies of the Attack on Titan manga in print today and FUNimation has both simulcast and released the anime on home video in North America.

It sure seems like the Attack on Titan movie's arrival on this continent was pretty inevitable.
