Avengers: Age of Ultron is the most successful comic book movie of 2015, and the second-most successful film of the summer. However, despite making over $1.4 billion at the worldwide box office, a report claims Disney considers the movie a failure.

This might come as a shock to many, but to others, the moment Jurassic World topped Age of Ultron, the writing was on the wall.

We have heard rumors of a falling out between Marvel Studios head honcho Kevin Feige and Marvel Entertainment CEO Isaac Perlmutter. Usually, Feige needed to report to Perlmutter with everything he does, but from what we are hearing, these two men never really got along.

It is said that Perlmutter was against the creative decisions behind Captain America: Civil War, though we are not certain why. Chances are, it might have a lot to do with the amount of heroes and villains in the movie and the possibility the movie might be overcrowded.

When it came down to Avengers: Age of Ultron, we can't say what the creative differences were between Feige and Perlmutter, but if Bleeding Cool is to be believed, Disney is not happy.

It seems the Mickey Mouse factory was expecting Age of Ultron to surpass the first Avengers film in a huge way, but that did not happen.

Many analysts and fans have predicted that Age of Ultron would have topped Avatar and Titanic in the amount of monies made at the global box office. When that did not happen, probably due to the lower-than-expected reviews, everything seemed to have fallen apart.

As it stands right now, according to Bleeding Cool, Feige will now report directly to Disney, bypassing Perlmutter altogether.

This proves that Kevin Feige's influence is growing, but whether or not that's a good thing remains to be seen, because usually, these things tend to turn out terribly in the end, however long it takes.

We won't know for sure if this rumored shake-up will be better for the Marvel Cinematic Universe. We definitely won't know for sure until after Captain America: Civil War.
