The undisputed kings of USB podcasting mics have entered the world of headphones with a bang.

Blue Microphones' Mo-Fi headphones are big, beautiful and sound fantastic. They also do a pretty impressive job of drowning out the din of IFA noise. In fact, I'm a little bummed I took them off.

Blue really went all in with the Mo-Fi. The company could have simply slapped its name on a podcasting. Instead, it took the lovely design language that has defined its microphone line and applied it to a pair of heavy duty cans.

The Mo-Fis have a classic look and feel, fitting comfortably over the ears like a pair of pilot headphones. The ear cupping is enough to drown out ambient sound and really showcase the power of the built-in amps.

Honestly, the things feel like they'd be wasted on podcasts — no offense to podcasts. These are the sort of headphones you want to slip own while sinking into a beanbag chair and slipping though vinyl LPs.

Naturally, they're not cheap. The Mo-Fis run for $350 but are with every penny for those looking for a premium at-home music listening experience
